The name PATEX combines the “PA” in Paris with the “TEX” in Texas. It began with the idea of two different words and images meeting within a single name.

PATEX is a project we started to make and share the things we like, as well as the things that have been on our minds lately.

We often think about things that once existed but are now hard to find, or things we wish existed but have never quite found. Some may feel new and of the moment, while others may feel familiar and timeless. We make them as we would like to see them—sometimes plainly and sometimes through small details.

PATEX is where our different tastes and ways of seeing meet. It is our way of turning what we imagine into something real, and finding out whether the things we care about can be enjoyed by others too.
